EXAMINATION
4.1. Application and Schedule of examinations
Examinations are tentatively scheduled to be held from the month of March to May of every
year for the degree students and August/September for PG students. The candidates who do
not get any communication in this regard are requested to contact the office of the Director,
SDE by the mid week of January.
There is no need of separate application for first year UG/PG Examination,
however, the candidates have to remit fee for first year UG/PG Examinations

ONLINE REGISTRATION
3.1. Submission of Application
• Those who wish to apply for the courses under the School of Distance Education,
Kannur University may visit the official website of Kannur University.
www.kannuruniversity.ac.in
• Then they may go to the link “Online Registration”. Procedure for on line registration
/ admission is available there and follow the instructions
• Select the course of their choice namely; BA/B.Sc/B.Com/PG/BCA/BBA etc.
• Utmost care shall be taken to fill up the form correctly.
• Never forget to note the application number for future reference.
• The candidates shall take the printout of the filled in application and submit the
same in the office of the school of Distance Education along with :
a copy of recent passport size photograph affixed and attested by a Gazetted
Officer( 150 pixel width X 200 pixel height) in the column prescribed in the
printout.
The Original marklist and certificate of the qualifying examination
Transfer Certificate.
Original Chalan Receipt. ( Cheque, postal orders and money orders will not be
accepted under any circumstances. Demand draft is acceptable only in the case
of candidates residing out side Kerala state).(Refer 3.2- Remittance of fees)
Community, Nativity and Income Certificates (applicable to candidates who are
eligible for fee concession), Community certificate ( applicable to candidates
who are eligible for relaxation in minimum mark for admission)
Recognition certificate( applicable to the candidates who have taken the
qualifying examination from outside the state of Kerala).
Duly filled in fee concession form (for the SC/ST/OEC candidates)
One copy of recent passport size photograph for affixing on the Identity Card.
• Application for registration should reach the Director, School of Distance Education on
or before the date mentioned in the admission notification.
• The candidate can submit the application in person or by registered post in the
